Cabin, park model or rental trailer? How to pick your stay
No RV, no problem. Shadow Brook has five kinds of places to stay that come with a roof. Here’s how to choose.
Camping cabins: closest to real camping
Cozy log cabins with 3 full size beds (sleeps up to 6), a mini fridge and microwave, AC and heat, and a front porch with a cedar swing. Outside you get a grill, fire ring and picnic table. There’s no bathroom inside; restrooms are within 3 sites of every cabin. From $125 a night.
Deluxe cabins: a cabin with a kitchenette and bathroom
Everything in a camping cabin, plus an equipped kitchenette, a bathroom, a television, ceiling fans and more room to spread out. From $200 a night.
Park models: a small home on the campground
Full kitchens, bathrooms, a television, AC and heat, ceiling fans, porches and grills. From $200 a night.
The Cottage: for a bigger group or a longer stay
Three bedrooms, two full baths, an eat-in kitchen, a living room and a laundry room, fully furnished. From $230 a night, or $3,500 for a month.
Rental travel trailers: try RV life without buying one
Each trailer has a kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, and a sleeper sofa, and sleeps 2 to 6. Outside there’s a grill, fire ring, Adirondack chairs and a picnic table. Some are pet friendly. From $150 a night, with a $150 refundable security deposit.
